The guide and the participants were excellent. I just think they should specify better in the route details how it will unfold (you arrive at El Pilar by bus AND THEN, you continue walking the entire time (SEVEN HOURS) until you reach Fuencaliente). Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

The route is physically demanding; the path is uneven in many places, and the steep incline can be tiring, but the views and surroundings are worth it. The descent is long and somewhat hard on the knees. I was lucky with the group of people I met. That's also part of the experience. Opinion translated. Show original.

The route is beautiful and very demanding, as indicated in its description. My complaint is that in such a spectacular and unknown setting, we went too fast, with time to take photos only at the points where the guide deemed it appropriate to stop, and this is a route that should be photographed almost entirely, especially on the way up. It felt a bit like watching the boot of the person in front without time to contemplate, enjoy, and photograph. Perhaps it would be better to add an hour to be able to enjoy it a bit more. Translate this opinion into English.

The perfect day; the hike is tough but worth it. The views are excellent. The guide is very good. It would have been even better if the pace of the hike had been a little more moderate. Opinion translated. Show original.

The Volcano Route is an impressive experience, allowing you to experience the island's unique geology and landscapes up close. The guide was excellent: a true expert on the subject, with extensive knowledge of the history and environment, always attentive to the group and making stops to rest and explain. However, the activity is demanding: it covers many kilometers, with tough stretches and little to no shade. It's essential to bring enough water, suitable footwear, sunscreen, and food. Translate this opinion into English.

Super nice excursion, with a certain level of demand. Varied landscape along the route. We pass through different volcanoes and the guide gives us technical and interesting explanations. They were very interesting, we had a great guide. The only negative point is that we had fog for much of the morning and we couldn't enjoy the excellent views at times. It was quite cold, I advise wearing technical clothing and, above all, dressing in layers, as the mountains require. Opinion translated. Show original.
