On this day trip to Al Ain from Dubai, you'll get to see authentic oases, palaces, and mountains. Don't miss the traditional Arabian charm of this Emirati city!
Day Trip Details
After picking you up from your hotel in Dubai at the designated time, we'll head southeast to Al Ain, located on the border with Oman. The bus ride takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
We'll arrive in Al Ain, the fourth-largest city in the UAE. Did you know it's known as "the Spring"? We'll tell you why during the trip.
First, we'll stop by the Al Ain Museum, where we'll discover the history and cultural heritage of the region. The museum houses archaeological finds, traditional objects, and exhibits that showcase the history and way of life of the people of Al Ain and the United Arab Emirates.
From there, we'll head to Jahili Fort. We'll step inside this fortress to check out its large photography collection and, of course, admire its architecture. Built in the 19th century, it has historically held an important strategic position. Want to know why? You'll have to wait until the day of the trip to find out!
Our next stop is Al Ain Oasis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011. This huge garden is home to over 147,000 date palms and features the famous aflaj irrigation systems, which carry fresh spring water down from the Hajar Mountains.
After exploring the oasis, we'll stop at a local restaurant for an international buffet lunch, including water and soft drinks.
To wrap up our visit to Al Ain, we'll head up Jebel Hafeet, the highest peak in the emirate. Photo time!
After 8 hours, we'll wrap up this Al Ain day trip back at your hotel in Dubai.
