Let the exotic tastes and smells of traditional Indian cooking ignite your senses when you take our delicious food tour of Chennai.
After meeting up with our guide at the foot of the King George V statue, we will begin our fantastic guided food tour of Chennai. The first part of our amazing journey will take us through the picturesque streets of the historic city center. Along the way, we will visit some traditional food stores where you can taste some of the best regional dishes.
With our appetite whetted, our guide will then show us how to prepare some of the most delicious sweets of both the Chennai area and of India. Once you have observed these pastries being made, and you have discovered the secrets to these wonderful recipes, you can then taste them for yourself.
Later, we will stop at a local cafe to enjoy a refreshing cup of Indian tea brewed in a traditional clay pot. Then we relax, watching the everyday life of Chennai pass us by as we hear some fascinating facts about the city's cuisine.
The icing on the cake to this fabulous gastronomy tour is when you try an amazing dessert of Chennai. There is a huge variety to choose from and you will certainly want more than just one!
